About this Website

This site was funded by a grant from the Stanley Smith Horticultural Trust of San Francisco, CA. Morgan Daniels, a Master's student at the University of Michigan's School of Information, created this website. The project relied on assistance from many sources, including a management team from MBGNA: David Michener (project supervisor), Connie Crancer, T.J. Smith, and Catriona Mortell. Members of the Ann Arbor Bonsai Society (AABS), including Robert Bishop, Cyril Grum, and Jack Wikle contributed their expertise towards the text. Visitors to MBGNA and members of AABS provided input concerning the content of the site.

Unless specifically credited, pictures were provided by the MBGNA archives, photographed by volunteers, interns, and staff through the years, and are owned by the institution.
